Save to TIFF
|
 |
Saving images in TIFF format allows the following settings:
1, 4, 8, 24, 48, 64 bpp - sets number of bits per pixel. Mind that the
larger is number of bits per pixel the larger is the size of the output image.
Compression type - selects one of the compression types available.
JPEG compression quality - sets JPEG compression level (if JPEG is
used as compression type).
Quantization level - quantization of color images is necessary if the display on which a specific image is presented works with less colors than the original image.
Use Dithering - dithering was developed to increase the apparent color resolution of a display without reducing the spatial resolution.
Horizontal resolution - specifies the horizontal resolution, in pixels-per-meter, of the target device for the bitmap. An application can use
this value to select a bitmap from a resource group that best matches the characteristics of the current device.
Vertical resolution - specifies the vertical resolution, in pixels-per-meter, of the target device for the bitmap. An application can use
this value to select a bitmap from a resource group that best matches the characteristics of the current device.
